E. Norris Wadsworth, 87, of Walnut Creek, Calif., died Monday, October 22, 1990, in California.

He was born January 1, 1903, in Morgan, a son of Edward Norris and Nancy LaVina Robison. He married Violet Fry in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 68 years. He graduated from Morgan High School. He was one of the first members of the Boy Scouts under the LDS Church program. Norris retired in 1968 from the Del Monte Corp., after 45 years of service. He was a pioneer in the pineapple business, and had lived in the Philippines for a number of years. He was an active member of the LDS Church, Walnut Creek 1st Ward, where he was a High Priest.Surviving are: His wife, Violet, one daughter, Terry and her husband, Tom Warne, Danville, Calif.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son, Norris Richard, who passed away just prior to the war, and is buried in the North Morgan Cemetery. Also surviving are: Two sisters, Margaret (wife of the late Howard Taggart), and Maxine (wife of Willard Nielson), both of Morgan; one stepbrother, William Redden, Morgan; two stepsisters, Mildred Tuttle, Ogden; Katherine Harris, Nevada; numerous nieces and nephews, of Morgan and the surrounding area.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., in the Morgan Stake Chapel. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, North Morgan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Diabetes Association.
