Winnie Hardman Reid, age 90, died October 23, 1990 in American Fork.
Born May 26, 1900 in Pleasant Grove, Utah the daughter of Frank and Amelia Sangren Hardman. Married Clarence Isaac Reid August 25, 1925 in Nephi, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church, served in all organizations, her late husband was the Bishop for 17 years. She was well known for her quilt and needlework. She loved outdoors and family. She lived in Latuda, Carbon County for 30 years prior to moving to American Fork.Survived by Mrs. Ben (Arline) Reddington of Helper; Edward and Betty Jane Scherer of American Fork; Arvil and Ida Reid of Provo; 19 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Millie Newbold of Riverton; Mrs. Wesley (Jane) Dunn of California; very special friends, Spencer and Bonnie Crosby of American Fork. Preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Leslie and Clarence Dale Reid.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 7th LDS Ward, 165 North 350 West. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
