Champion Garry Kasparov aggressively held the advantage in Game 6 of the World Chess Championship Wed-nesday, but both players ran out of time and the game was adjourned, game officials said Thursday.

Kasparov started off with white moving to e4, introducing the Roy Lopez, internationally known as the Spanish Game, and maintained a steady attack during Wednesday night's game against challenger Anatoly Karpov, said Bill Colias, senior American chess master.Kasparov, 27, sealed his move after Karpov played Bg7. The game will be concluded Thursday evening at Manhattan's Hudson Theater.
