Vera May Patterson, age 89, eternal companion, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all, exchanged her life for eternity October 22, 1990.

Born December 14, 1900 in Salt Lake City to Laurence Peter and Jennie Adolphine Widmark Jensen. Married Joseph Sharp Patterson in Provo, Utah on April 12, 1921, later solomnized in the Manti Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, serving as Librarian for a number of years. During and after World War II she worked at Remington Arms and Hill Air Force Base as a machinist.Survived by two daughters: Mrs. Keith (Marilain) Black and Mrs. Kennith (Janet Patricia) Fawson; one brother, Alvin Jensen of Pasadena, Ca. and one sister, Myrtle Booth of Panorama City, California; 28 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, a son Morris Patterson, a daughter, Ruth Mollenhauer and a grandson, Michael Paul Mollenhauer.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 25, 12:00 Noon, Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call Wednesday 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Thurs. one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
