Thomas Jay Brimhall, 66, died Monday, October 22, 1990, at his home in Grand Junction.
He was born November 15, 1923, in Benjamin, Utah, son of Allen Jack and Elsie Ludlow Brimhall. Member, LDS Church. He was reared and educated in Spanish Fork. Also attended the University of Utah. Served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Married Elaine Parsons; later divorced. Resided in Tooele, Utah, and Salt Lake City, moving to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1964. Married Joyce Preston November 13, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was owner and operator of T.J.'s Mini Storage, and a real estate developer. Member, B.P.O.E. in Salt Lake City. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and gardening.Survived by: Wife, Joyce Brimhall, Grand Junction, Colo.; sons, Thomas Brimhall, Jr., Riverton, Utah; Douglas C. Brimhall, Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Barbara Lynn Merriman, Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; brothers, E.D. Brimhall, West Jordan; Faye Jensen, Spanish Fork; sisters, Min Clark, Springville; Ruth Morgan, Wellington, Kansas; Rachel Harris, Arvada, Colo.; Joyce Alman, Orem. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services Friday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m., at the LDS Church at 3076 E1/2 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado, where friends may call Thursday, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Graveside services Saturday, 1 p.m., Oct. 27, Spanish Fork City Cemetery, under the direction of Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, Colorado.
