Jay Leno sometimes catches up on his sleep while he's performing.
"When I do two two-hour shows . . . I get into the rhythm of the thing and I fall asleep on stage," Leno says in an interview in the December issue of Playboy. "I just plain go out for about 40 minutes and then come back in again and drift in and out. Only once or twice have I come back and not known where I was."Leno says he undergoes other transformations on stage: "A friend of mine put one of those pulse things on me and, boy, my pulse drops waaay down. It's the easiest part of the day for me."
