Robert Hudson Davis, 44, died Monday, October 22, 1990 in Howell of an apparent heart attack.

He was born January 17, 1946, in Tremonton, a son of Lois Stokes and Richard (Dick) Blount Davis. He married Cathy Lynne Andreasen, May 15, 1970 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Tremonton, graduating from Bear River High School and Utah State University. He had lived in Garland and Thatcher. Mr. Davis was a partner in Davis Bros. Glass and Radiators. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a High Priest in the Thatcher-Penrose 1st Ward and was serving as Gospel Doctrine teacher at the time of his death. He had also served as Elders Quorum president; Stake Sunday School president, and as a missionary in the Southern Far East Hong Kong and Philippines Mission.Surviving are his wife, Thatcher; two sons, four daughters, Derek Hudson, Michael Allen, Monica Lyn, Becky Jo, Nancy Ann and Holly Lynne, all of Thatcher; his mother, Tremonton; three brothers and three sisters, Richard B., Deweyville; Hugh S., Morgan; Joseph M., Brigham City; Darlene D. Lamb, Sandy; Roxey D. Haynie, West Valley City; Bette Davis, Taylorsville; he was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 1990 at 1 p.m., Thatcher-Penrose Ward Chapel with Bishop Robert L. Zollinger, officiating. Friends may call Thursday 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, and Friday at the Church, from 11 to 12:30. Interment in the Bothwell Cemetery.
