Willie Edward Alexander Edmonds, 78, died on Sunday, October 21, 1990 at a Salt Lake Hospital.

He was born on September 8, 1912 in Mecklenburg, Virginia, a son of Marcus Royal and Kate Reese Edmonds. He married Helen Marie Rohwer on December 6, 1943 in Pomona, California. He served in the US Army Medical Corps during World War II. He had been a self-employed metal salvalge worker and had been a farmer in South Hill, Virginia. He came to Utah in 1956. He was a member of the Brigham City Bible Church.Surviving are his wife of Brigham, seven sons and five daughters, Sterling E. Edmonds, Petersburg, Virginia; Herbert E. Edmonds, McKenney, Virginia; Maxie E. Edmonds, Chester, Virginia; David E. Edmonds, Taylorsville, Utah; Dennis R. Edmonds, Sandy, Utah; Roger L. Edmonds, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Charles S. Edmonds, Ogden; Mrs. Michael (Estelle) Rossi, Lexington, South Carolina; Mrs. James S. (Elaine) Cook Jr., Kearns, Utah; Mrs. Kathleen Roush, Clarksville, Michigan; Mrs. Lyle (Marie) Morris, Redwood City, California; Mrs. Errol (Christine) Brady, Milpitas, California; 33 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Arthur E. Edmond, Blackstone, Virginia; Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Reese; Kenvridge, Virginia; Mrs. John (Bertha) Reese, Union Level, Virginia. He is preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Services will be held on Friday, October 26, at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City Bible Church, 634 South 200 East, Brigham City. Friends may call at Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
