Ronald (Moore) Saunders, 58, died Oct. 21, 1990, at a Salt Lake hospital.

Born Sept. 16, 1932, in Salt Lake City, son of Charles and Ada Moore Saunders. Married Loretta Fenstermaker; later divorced. Married JoAnn Pruyt Jan. 11, 1986, in Salt Lake City. He was a Born Again Christian. Had been a member of the Salt Lake City Police Force for 24 years. Served in the U.S. Navy, Korean War, for three and a half years. Active member in good standing of Alcoholics Anonymous.Survived by: Both parents, wife, JoAnn, five sons, Steven, Kim, Shane, David and Arthur, one daughter, Heather Mace, seven grandchildren, two brothers, Francis and Clark, stepdaughter, Pamela Pruyt, all of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Evans & Early Mortuary Chapel, 574 East 100 South, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment, Mount Olivet. Funeral directors, Evans & Early.
