Supporters of the Islamic Democratic Alliance beat portraits of ousted Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The alliance, a coalition of anti-Bhutto parties, has accused Bhutto and leaders of her Pakistan People's Party of pandering to the United States while in office and of lobbying Washington to suspend aid to put pressure on the caretaker government. The PPP is expected to emerge as the single largest party in Wednesday's elections.
