The Club of Hispanic Women of Salt Lake City will hold its annual Grand Ball on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Red Lion Inn in celebration of its 18th anniversary.

A social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a dance following. Music and entertainment will be provided by The Damaris, a Colombian group. There will a costume show with club members displaying their native costumes while music from their homeland is played.The Hispanic Women's Club (El Club de Mujeres Latinas) was organized in 1972 as a non-profit service organization and is active in promoting Hispanic culture.

The 1991 board of directors includes Julieta Peretto, president; Graciela Berta, vice president; Susana Alba, treasurer; Lourdes Cooke, secretary; Glenda Nonaka and Rosario Alvarez, board assistants.
