Charter Summit Hospital, KSL-TV and Harmon's Family Center are sponsoring a free Halloween party Monday, Oct. 29, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the hospital, 175 W. 7200 South.

Door prizes, games, a scare walk and scary music and videos will be featured. Throughout the evening, kids will learn trick-or-treat safety tips and be fingerprinted in cooperation with the Midvale Police Department. Special visits from Charter Chum, Safety Pup and McGruff are planned. Treats include free popcorn, caramel apples and cider. Kids can decorate their own cupcakes.Children up to 12 are invited to wear their costumes and come enjoy a free night of fun and fright. Groups of five or more need to RSVP to the Community Education Department, 561-8181.
