Mary Selander Kempf, 77, died Sunday, October 21, 1990 after a short illness.

Born May 25, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Samuel A. and Amy Wilson Selander. She married Arthur J. Kempf March 7, 1934 in Salt Lake City; he passed away April 27, 1977. She was a member of the LDS Church and was active in the Relief Society. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery.Surviving are her four daughters and a son, Kay Larsen, Corvallis, Oregon; Arlene Leshon, Roy; Norma Jarrard, Walnut, Calif.; Karen Porter, and Stephen Kempf, both Kaysville. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also a brother, Jack R. Selander, North Ogden. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Willard Selander, and one grandson, Stanley Porter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., in the Lindquiest's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
