The City Council is proposing to accept an ordinance at its Tuesday meeting that would annex an "island of land" in north Orem.

On Oct. 9, the council voted to allow time for citizen response on the annexation of the Crandall property at approximately 1200 E. 800 North, but no one has appeared to protest the annexation.Other items on the agenda include the approval of a conditional use permit and a site plan amendment for property at 725 W. Center St. and the setting of two public hearings.

One hearing would be on the annexation of property at 1100 S. 2000 West and the other on the vacation of a public right of way access at 1400 S. 200 East.
