Prison officials have confirmed that a convicted spy known as "The Falcon" is imprisoned in Minnesota's Oak Park Heights prison and "doing quite well."

Christopher Boyce, 34, who was the subject of a book and movie, "The Falcon and the Snowman," was convicted of spying in 1977 and was held in federal prison in Marion, Ill., from 1981 until he was moved to Minnesota. He had been transferred to the Illinois prison after escaping from a federal prison in Lompoc, Calif. Boyce, the son of a former FBI agent, and a friend were convicted of selling defense communications information obtained from TRW Inc. to Soviet agents.
