Ellen Bernice Gillman Louder, 76, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away October l9, l990 in the Salt Lake LDS hospital from injuries suffered in a truck-pedestrian accident on October 3.
Bernice was born 21 February l914 in Lindon, Utah, the daughter of Ray and Hazel Fryer Gillman. She married Albert R. Louder on June 15, l933. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the YWMIA and Relief Society. She served three years as an ordinance worker at the Jordan River Temple. She worked for Utah Power & Light in Orem, Midvale and Salt Lake offices, retiring in l978.
She is survived by her husband of Sandy, daughter Mrs. Blaine (Larna) Hardcastle of Sandy, son Dean R. and wife Billie Louder of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada; 13 grandchildren eight great-grandchildren, brothers; Raymond Gillman, Harley Gillman and LaDell Gillman all of Orem, a sister Mrs. Virgil (Phyliss) Cook of Murray.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the nurses in the shock-trauma ICU at the LDS hospital for their devoted care.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 24, l990 at ll A.M. in the Mt. Jordan 3rd LDS Ward, 8950 So. 400 E. Friends may call Tuesday 6 until 8 PM at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Street, and at the Ward Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Crescent Cemetery.
