Marlon Brando's son Christian may be moving toward a plea bargain. Christian Brando's murder trial has been postponed to next month, with jury selection set for Nov. 5, as prosecutors cast about for a way to bring his half-sister Cheyenne back from Tahiti to testify against him concerning last spring's shooting of her lover, Dag Drollet.
Prosecutors say they're growing increasingly frustrated as judges rebuff their efforts to enlist officials in French Polynesia to help force Cheyenne Brando to return and testify."There doesn't seem to be any process whereby we can get her to return," gripes one deputy district attorney. "Her testimony is crucial."
