"MiMi" Our loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Berth-Ella `Mimi' Sanford Kester, age 80, passed away October 18, 1990, in a local hospital.

Born September 7, 1910, Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Bertha Skidmore Sanford. Married Robert Norman Kester, who preceded her in death in 1972. Shortly after `Norm's' death, Mimi left her home in Southern California and moved to Salt Lake City to be near her family. Her family and friends, especially the `Breakfast Buddies' at Dee's (by the Cotton Mall) and the residents of Cottonwood Cove will miss her dearly.Survivors include two sons, James Hammond, Baton Rouge, LA, and Bob (Barbara Lee) Kester, Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Kenneth D. (Arla) Kester, Karen D (Brad) Patrick and Norman J. (Melody) Kester; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Flora George; and a brother, Lawrence Sanford.

In Salt Lake City, friends may call Sunday, October 21st from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, the 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, California.
