Our devoted mother and grandmother, Eva Dagmar Segerstedt Tschaggeny, age 82, died October 18, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born July 20, 1908 in Stockholm, Sweden to Johan August and Emma Maria Jansson Segerstedt. Married Karl Robert Tschaggeny, Sr. on December 7, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 28, 1976. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various church callings including ward Relief Society president. Throughout her lifetime she served many through genealogy work.Together with her husband Bob, founded and operated the Artistic Lighting Studio and Metals Manufacturing Company. They sponsored numerous European immigrants. She was active in the reconstruction relief effort for German citizens after World War II.

Survived by sons and daughters, K. Robert (wife, Arlene) Tschaggeny; J. Rudolf (wife, Donna Mae) Tschaggeny; Patricia (husband, Merrill) Duffin; Michael Tschaggeny; David (wife, Charlene) Tschaggeny; Kathryn (husband, Lynn) Hendrickson; and Stanley (wife, Elaine) Tschaggeny; 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, Gregor Dithlow Segerstedt and a grandson, Jay Duffin.

Funeral services on Monday, October 22nd, at 12 noon, Holladay 3rd Ward Chapel, 4568 South Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Monday, 10:45-11:45 am. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
