Kathryn Melville Rawlings, died October 19, 1990 at her home after a lingering illness. She will be missed by her family, relatives and friends.

Born July 9, 1930 to Rulon and Inez Melville, in Salt Lake City. Raised in Monroe, Utah. She attended Utah State University and graduated from BYU with a degree in education. Married LaMar A. Rawlings, May 20, 1953. She taught at elementary schools in Spanish Fork and Salt Lake and was co-owner of Ann's Hallmark at Olympus Hills Mall with her special friend Ann Christensen.Survived by her husband, LaMar; three daughters, Patty Lund and husband, Dale; Susan Kiser and husband, Mike; Nancy Rawlings; three special grandchildren, Matt and Angie Lund; Meghan Kiser, all of Salt Lake City; brother, Robert Melville, Bowling Green, Kentucky; and many close friends. She was preceded in death eight months ago by her twin brother, Kent Melville.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., October 22, 1990 at the Parley's 6th Ward, 2350 South 2100 East. Friends may call Sunday 5-7 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the ward Monday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
