Southern Utah concludes a three-game homestand today with the annual "Doe Bowl" at 1 p.m. in the Coliseum of Southern Utah.
The Thunderbirds, 4-3, meet the St. Mary's Gaels, 4-2, in a non-conference affair, with both teams coming off losses. The T-Birds fell to Cal State Northridge 34-24 last week, while the Gaels fell to Sonoma State 45-25 two weeks ago before having a bye last week."We know very little about St. Mary's," said SU Coach Jack Bishop. "We have just got to rebound and take it one game at a time."
The game has been dubbed the Doe Bowl, because it coincides with the opening of the deer hunt and women fans get discounted tickets and a free T-shirt.
