Cuban-born pianist Jorge Bolet, one of the last practitioners of the Romantic style, has died at age 75, his family said. Bolet, who lived in Mountain View, Calif., had been in poor health for more than a year. Although a child prodigy, fame eluded Bolet until he was in his 60s when his style of playing came back into public favor. He came into his own amid a wave of neo-Romanticism in the 1970s, and made a number of highly praised recordings.
