Leonard Joseph Johnson, 81, passed away October 18, 1990 at home.
Born February 18, 1909 in Crescent, Utah to Oscar J. and Ruth Ethel Lloyd Johnson. Married Mae Crump March 12, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a superintendent for the Brookfield Products. Active member LDS Church, ordinance worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, worker and sealer in the Jordan River Temple, served a Florida-Tallassee Mission. Secretary of the Beckstead Irrigation Company.Survived by wife, South Jordan; four daughters, Mrs. Gayle Thomas and husband Ron; Mrs. Pam Brown and husband Lynn, all South Jordan; Mrs. Dorine Bailey and husband Harold, Granger; Mrs Natalie Hardy and husband Glen, St. George; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Smith, Lindon; Mrs. Violet Price, South Jordan. Preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Phelps.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., South Jordan 4th Ward, 1300 West, 10825 So. Friends may call Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan Cemetery.
