Florence Hill Parkin, age 84, died October 17, 1990 in Salt Lake City.
Born September 3, 1906 in Provo, Utah to Joseph and Clarice Millett Hill. Married Lincoln D. Parkin on September 10, 1925, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, November 27, 1984. Active member of the LDS Church having served as ward Relief Society president and in the Relief Society presidency of Sugarhouse Stake. She also taught Primary and was ward Primary president. Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers.Survived by a son, Robert H. (and wife Janice) Parkin; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn A. (Janeal) Hancock and Mrs. Robert S. (Marilyn) Epperson; all of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Claris Snider; May Dozier; Elaine Ostenson; and Beverly Arthur.
Funeral services Saturday, October 20th, 12 noon, in the Richard Ward Chapel, 855 East Garfield Avenue (1800 South). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Sandy, Utah, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
