A Salt Lake woman who was involved in the sale of drugs at Panguitch High School in January 1989 has been sentenced on two felony counts and ordered to undergo treatment in the Davis County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Program.

Angie Sakalariou failed to honor a criminal summons but was later arrested on a bench warrant. The 6th District Court handed down a one- to 15-year sentence for distribution of a controlled substance to a minor and one to five years for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.The prison sentences and nearly $13,000 of $15,000 in fines were suspended by Judge Don V. Tibbs.

Sakalariou is being held in the Garfield County Jail pending a vacancy in the Davis County program and will be on probation for 24 months after completing the rehabilitation schedule.
