The former Prime Resources Corp., a Salt Lake-based long-distance telecommunications services company, has changed its name to Prime Telecommunications Inc.
The company said the name change reflects Prime's focus in recent years on the telecommunications industry which began with Prime's 1987 purchase of LDL Long Distance."In a competitive environment, management believes it is important that the company have a name that clearly reflects its focus," said Bradford Brower, chairman.
Brower said J. Robert Bonnemort has been named a director of the company. Bonnemort, 46, is vice president and director of Matrix Funding Corp., Salt Lake City.
