Police are still seeking the identity of a jogger who was critically injured Tuesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle.

Salt Lake Police Lt. Ken Thirsk said the victim was jogging in the vicinity of 300 South and 1000 East when he was hit. He was taken to the University of Utah Medical Center, where he was in critical condition in the intensive care unit Wednesday, a spokesman said.The victim is described as a white male between 23 and 28 years old. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Salt Lake Police Department.
