Olympus Capital Corp., parent company of Prudential Federal Savings and Loan Association, reported unaudited net income of approximately $383,000 for the quarter ended June 30 and $1.16 million for the six months ended June 30, compared with $73,000 and $1.27 million for the same periods last year.
Net income after tax for the second quarter of 1987 and for the first six months of 1987 was reduced by approximately $724,000 by the write-off in the second quarter of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corp. Secondary Reserve.Stockholders' equity in Olympus is now $53.35 million, or $20.92 per share. The company said tangible net worth of Prudential Federal Savings is "significantly greater" than required under the regulations of the FSLIC, which insures its savings accounts.
Assets were $849 million.
