Officials at Acme Electric Corp. 5416 Amelia Earhart Drive, announced the headquarters for all uninterruptible power supplies has been relocated from Tempe, Ariz., to its Salt Lake facility.

Acme dedicated a 140,000 square-foot building in the Salt Lake International Center in 1978 for the manufacture of electronic transformers and electronic assemblies. Due to the accelerated growth for uninterruptible power supplies, additional engineering and manufacturing facilities were required. As a result, in the past six months all new electronic assembly and testing equipment has been installed in the building. "This a natural expansion and refocus of this operation since we have the basic facilities, personnel and infrastructure already in place," said R. Hartley Bond, vice president of sales and marketing.
