The 19th annual Sidney B. Sperry Symposium, scheduled for Brigham Young University Saturday, Oct. 20, will concentrate on the theme "The Lord of the Gospels."

Elder James E. Faust, a member of the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will give the keynote address at 9 a.m. in the Joseph Smith Building.The daylong, admission-free symposium will feature speakers from the Church Educational System and several institutes as well as BYU faculty members.

Some lecture topics include "The Surprise or Atypical Features in the Teachings of Jesus," "Mark and Luke: Two Facets of a Diamond" and "The Passion of Jesus Christ: An Intimate Look at the Gospel Narratives."
