In loving memory of Donald Calder, cherished husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who passed away on Monday, October 15, 1990 of cancer.
Born March 24, 1923, Salt Lake City to Walter Stewart and Ida Ellen Flack Calder. Married June Natalie Samuels, April 16, 1946, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Don will be remembered for his life-time of service to his country, community and family. Served as a radio operator, U.S. Army during World War II. Held a number of different positions in his church and was serving as a counselor in the bishopric of the Murray 33rd Ward at the time of his death.Survivors: wife, Murray; daughters, Judy Eastman, Fruit Heights; LeAnn Felt, Centerville; Connie Calder, Salt Lake City; Penny McHardy, Reno, Nevada; sons, Donald Scott, Plano, Texas; Jeffrey Mason, Sacramento, California; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson, seven brothers, two sisters. Preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 1990, 12 noon, Murray 33rd LDS Ward, 5600 South Vine St. Friends may call Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the Church 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
