JaNeen D. Kidd, age 56, died Sunday, October 14, 1990 at the University of Utah Medical Center, due to complications after surgery.

She was born April 3, 1934 in Murray; daughter of Alton M. (Toby) and Alice H. Dimond. She married Wallace J Kidd, July 10, 1953 in Draper, Utah; their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. JaNeen lived in Layton for 35 years; and served valiantly in both church and community. She worked for D.D.O. at Hill Air Force Base for 23 years. Her love for children led to many years of service in the Junior Sunday School and Primary Organizations. JaNeen's unselfish and loving nature extended to countless members of the community who will always love and remember "Mom Kidd".She is survived by her husband, Wallace, Layton; her five sons and three daughters, Gerald J Kidd; James W. Kidd; Thomas A Kidd, all Salt Lake City; Kurtis C. Kidd, Salem, Oregon; Kenneth E. Kidd; Shauna Iverson, both Ogden; Kaleen Kidd and DeAnn Fuller, both Clearfield; she is also survived by 16 grandchildren who will deeply miss "Grandma Kidd"; also surviving are her mother, Alice H. Dimond, Midvale; and her brother, Dean M. Dimond, Orem.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 1990 at 12 noon in the Layton 8th Ward Chapel, 789 East Wasatch Dr. (425 No.) Friends may call Wednesday, October 17th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Layton Lindquist Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd.; and at the ward on Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Funeral directors, Russon Bros. Mortuary, Salt Lake City. Interment in the Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
