John William Weighall, 73, died unexpectedly October 13, 1990 at home.
Born April 1, 1917, in Gilmore, Idaho to William Lafayette and Candace Cunningham Weighall. Married Linna Mae Weaver March 20, 1939, in Blackfoot, Idaho. Later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. World War II Naval Veteran. John was an ambitious man of many talents as a cowboy, farmer, construction worker, custodian and handy man who loved his family and hard work. John served as a Boy Scout Leader, Assistant Ward Clerk, Sunday School Presidency, High Priest Group Leader and genealogical extraction worker.Survived by: His brother, Frank Weighall, Inverness, Florida; half-sister, Beth Steele, Carlton, Oregon; wife, Linna; three sons, John Richard Weighall, Woodbine, New Jersey; Steven L. Weighall, Kennewick, Washington; Michael Charles Weighall, Bakersfield, Calif.; ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 20, 12 noon, at the West Valley First Ward, 3270 West 3650 South. Friends may call Friday, October 19, at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood, 5-8 p.m. and at the church, 11:11:45 prior to service. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
