Beth Shoell Manning, 68, died October 14, 1990 in Provo, Utah.

She was born July 31, 1922 in American Fork, Utah, to Leonard Giles and Hazel Tes Hunter Shoell. She married Harry Dell Manning, Sr. August 26, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 7, 1969. Member of the LDS Church, served as Primary and Relief Society secretary, also a ward historian making scrapbooks. She was a reporter for the American Fork Citizen. Member of the Utacean Club for over 30 years and as a Pink Lady at the American Fork Hospital for ten years. She was an avid sports fan.Survived by four sons and a daughter, Sherlin, Marlon, Harry D. (Bussie), all of American Fork; Sheldon, Layton; Loralee, Midvale; 14 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Cecil, Ogden; Kenneth, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Vera Cardwell, Roy; Mrs. Kent (Jean) Petersen, Lehi.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in the American Fork 12th Ward, 695 East 300 North. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Wednesday, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, at the church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
