Barbara Jean Saxey McEwan Eggett, 58, died October 12, 1990 in Provo, Utah, of a sudden illness.
She was born May 2, 1932 in Provo to Wendell Alfred and Ruby Ellen Scott Saxey. She married Lloyd Coltrin McEwan September 30, 1953 in Provo. Later divorced. She married Walter (Bus) Eggett January 8, 1990 in Highland, Utah. She was raised and attended schools in Provo, graduating from Provo High School. She worked as a telephone operator. She was currently working at House of Ivins in American Fork. Member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions, and very active in the Cub Scout Program. She was many girls ideal as she taught.Survived by her husband of Highland, a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Mary Ellen) Smith, Lehi, a son, Mike McEwan, Cedar Hills; two step daughters: Mrs. Dale (Karen) Greenwood, American Fork; Mrs. Douglas (Joy) Alldredge, Alpine; two step sons, Jerald Eggett, American Fork; Dennis Eggett, Richland, Washington; 21 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Rex (Fawn) Christensen, Provo, and a brother, John Saxey, Sandy. Preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 12:00 noon in the Highland Seventh Ward, 4679 Wasatch Drive. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday atthe church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
