The residents of United Cerebral Palsy group homes and supervised apartments are attending an art class given by Lenore Scow and MaryAnne Scott.
The residents learn to paint pictures with the help of adaptive devises, including things as simple as a tongue depressor and rubber bands. The instructors teach them to maneuver brushes with their mouths from palette to canvas and to express themselves creatively.Classes are held Mondays at 1:30 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Murray, 6150 South between State and Main. Students learn teaches color mixing and blending, brush strokes and basic composition to produce creations of beauty.
