Charges of aggravated assault and assault upon a police officer have been filed against Kim R. Gordon, no address available, in connection with a July 26 incident in which two people were injured, an apartment ransacked and a policeman assaulted.

The complaint, filed Friday in 3rd Circuit Court, charges Gordon, 34, with one count of first-degree felony aggravated burglary, two counts of third- degree felony aggravated assault, one third-degree felony charge of criminal mischief, one count of misdemeanor assault on a police officer and one count of misdemeanor assault.A probable-cause statement filed with the complaint says a person broke into a residence at 360 N. Ninth West about 12:30 a.m. on July 26, and that during the break-in two people were assaulted, with one victim suffering a broken jaw.

The statement further says that more than $1,000 in damage occurred to the residence, and that when police attempted to arrest a man, he resisted and assaulted an officer, who suffered a broken wrist.
