The Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a critical issues forum on the attempt to remove the sales tax on food Thursday, Oct. 18, in the chamber briefing center, 175 E. 400 South.

Members of the panel will be Bud Scruggs, chief of staff to Gov. Norm Bangerter; Wm. Rolfe Kerr, Utah commissioner of higher education; Merrill Cook, chairman of the Utah Independent Party; Bill Walsh, director of Utah Issues; and Peter Billings, chairman of the Utah Democratic Party.Seating is limited in the free forum so reservations must be made no later than Tuesday, Oct. 16, by calling Candy Kammerman at 364-3631.
