Grahame L. Walsh, an Australian expert on prehistoric rock art will lecture Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Sevier County Courthouse as part of a program sponsored by the Utah Endowment for the Humanities, the state Division of Parks and Recreation, and the Central Utah Archaeological Society.

The lecture will discuss Australian rock art and how it and Utah rock art are part of a worldwide cultural heritage. Walsh will also explain modern aboriginal rock art and its importance in the everyday life of Australian aborigines.He will also speak on rock art preservation and management.
