For the second year in a row, Salt Lake Trapper general manager Dave Baggott has been named the Pioneer League's executive of the year. The Pioneer League held meetings in Salt Lake City last weekend. Baggott will receive the award in December at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Los Angeles.

Baggott also received the Pioneer League nomination for the National Associaton's Larry McPhail Promotional Trophy. The Trappers set a national short-season attendance record of 192,366 for 1990, breaking their own national record of about 176,000.
