Small Business Administration officials are soliciting entries to their 1991 Small Business Week poster contest that could mean national recognition and a $4,000 contract to the winner.
Stan Nakano, SBA director in Utah, said the winning poster will be distributed and displayed nationally to promote Small Business Week, May 5-11, 1991. The winning designer will receive a $4,000 contract to prepare camera-ready art and honored in Washington, D.C., during Small Business Week.The poster design should illustrate and incorporate the theme "Small Business: Building America's future." The text "U.S. Small Business Week, May 5-11, 1991, also must appear. The poster should be designed in no more than two colors on white paper measuring 16x20 inches.
Professionals and postsecondary-level students in graphic arts and design are encouraged to submit entries, which must be postmarked no later than Nov. 16, 1990. They should be sent to Office of Public Communications, SBA, 1441 L Street, N.W., Room 926, Washington, D.C. 20416.
