This season play-by-play of Golden Eagles hockey will be heard on two radio stations that blanket the Wasatch front with their signals. KMGR Radio (1230 AM) and KLO out of Ogden (1430 AM) will air all 82 regular season broadcasts, which began with the Friday game in San Diego.

KMGR, know as Magic Sports 1230 and featuring coverage of the Los Angeles Rams NFL games and major league broadcasts of the California Angels games, has added the Golden Eagles games to give them a local anchor for their sports emphasis.KLO has long been the voice of Weber State College sports in Davis County and northward to Idaho.

Mike Barack will return for his 4th season of calling the games, and precedes each contest with a 10-minute pre-game show. He will then wrap up each broadcast with a rundown on game scoring, other scores from the International Hockey League and National Hockey League, and a preview of the next Eagles game.

During each game Barack will offer interviews with Salt Lake players and personalities around the league.

Before coming to Salt Lake hockey, Barack spent a season as the Indianapolis Checkers announcer. Before that he was with the Springfield Indians as play-by-play man and public relations director.

He earned a journalism degree from Missouri-Columbia.
