Ruth Webb of Salt Lake City, 79, passed away Monday, October 8, 1990, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant W. Shelton in Midway, Utah.

Born May 16, 1911, in Richmond, Cache County, Utah, to Charles Edward and Eliza (Lila) Wilcox Webb. She attended North Cache High, graduated from LDS College in Salt Lake City in 1929, attended Utah Agricultural College in Logan, and finished a business course at LDS Business College. She moved to Southern California in November of 1932 where she worked for Bell and Howell Company for thirty-two years. Ruth was an active member of the LDS Church, taught in Relief Society and other organizations, and served a mission in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. Following her mission, she moved to Salt Lake City where she served as secretary to Elder Howard W. Hunter of the Council of the Twelve for twenty years. She often spoke of this period as the happiest years of her life.Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Clarice. She is survived and loved by many friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12th, 12 noon, Salt Lake 11th Ward, 951 East 100 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday, at the ward, one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
