Leith "Levi" Charles Munding, age 68, died at his home on October 7, 1990.

He was born January 22, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leo Charles and Ollie Regoni Munding. In August of 1955, he married Leola Dahl in Salt Lake City, Utah. She preceded him in death in 1956. Leith, or Levi, as he was known to many close to him loved the outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent in the mountains where he camped and fished and prospected for Gold and Silver, especially the Oquirrh mountains. He had lived in Bingham and Eureka, Utah as a youth. He was also very creative and was always a practical joker. He wrote poetry with a comical flair and created and told folklore and ghost stories. One of his greatest loves was animals and he had a great concern for their well being, especially "Bird" his favorite dog. Leith was like a second father to his nieces and nephews and was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Survivors: brother and sisters, Frank Munding, West Valley City; Mrs. C. P. (Bernice) Breedlove, Overton, Nevada; Mrs. Glenn (June) Green, Murray, Utah; Carol Thomas, Salt Lake City; six nieces and six nephews. Preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Raymond.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery 4th Ave. and "N" Street. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Wednesday 6-8 p.m.
