In Boulder, Colo., senior Carl Hansen led BYU's men's cross country team to victory Saturday in the 15-team eight kilometer run at the Rocky Mountain Shoot-Out.

BYU scored 70 points, followed by Wyoming 97, the Vigilantes 104, Adams State 112, Team Hack, 130, and Montana 134.And in Cedar City, juniors Brett Hill and Deron Scott led a Utah State University men's cross country team to victory in the Southern Utah Invitational. Hill ran the steep eight kilometer course in 29:07 to nip Scott by two seconds. The Aggie men scored 18 points and had five runners in the top seven finishers to easily outdistance host Southern Utah and Cal State San Bernardino which tied for second.
