Law enforcement officers are looking for a man who has been involved in a kiting scheme since June.
Kiting is the fraudulent buildup of funds in a bank account. After achieving a false balance in two checking accounts in Ogden and Idaho Falls, the man began buying merchandise, perhaps to resell at a later time.The suspect is a white male in his early 20s, 6 feet tall, 182 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has used the name Timothy W. Porter.
