Utah Jazz President Frank Layden will serve as the color analyst 1990-91 NBA season coverage by the NBA Radio Network, produced and syndicated by PIA Radio Sports. Layden will join veteran broadcaster Joe McConnell for 36 regular season games, plus the NBA Playoffs.

Layden is the former head coach of the Utah Jazz who was named the 1984 NBA Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year. He also has the distinction of being the only non-player to have received the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.Games in the Salt Lake Area will be heard on KISN (570 AM), the Jazz' flagship station. On nights that PIA games conflict with Jazz games, the PIA games will be broadcast on a tape delayed basis immediately following the conclusion of JazzTalk.
