Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority will celebrate 120 years since its founding Oct. 13, 1870, at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Ill. A Founder's Day Dinner will be given on Monday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. at the University of Utah Olpin Union - Panorama Room, West.
Mary E. Meadows, Park City Alumnae Association president, will greet alumnae, actives and 32 pledges. Awards will be given including a 65-year award to Francis Gustin Woolley of Salt Lake City.Receiving 50-year pins will be Ollie Peck Foley, Ogden; Rowena Alexander Howe, Betty McCall Hosick, Barbara Armstrong Thomas, Marjorie Sutherland Jensen, Charlotte Margetts Stewart, Dorothy Wagstaff Harrison, Marjorie Warshaw Mackey, all Salt Lake City; and Dorothy Rawlings Berryhill, Tooele.
Jane Edwards, director of YWCA, recipient of the Susa Young Gates Award for service to women and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, will address the group.
Ann Baddley Morris (Mrs. Bryan) is taking reservations. Susan Durham Nielsen and Jo Ann Eardley Miller are co-chairpersons for the event.
