Burton Morgan, 79, died Thursday, october 4, 1990 at Doxey Hatch Medical Center.
He was born March 6, 1911 in Aurora Sevier County, Utah to Daniel Seavy and Ada Rawlinson. He married Maxine Barton in the Salt Lake LDS Temple February 19, 1942. He attended schools in Aurora, Gunnison and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1931. He was a teacher, welder, barber, and artist. He served a mission in San Antonio, Texas, a stake mission in San Francisco, and a stake mission in Murray, Utah. He served twice as a counselor in the Bishopric, was on the Stake High Council, and was a ward clerk.He is survived by his wife; son, Dennis Morgan, Wyoming; daughter, Karen Burgess, Sandy; brother, Fawn Morgan, Provo; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 1990, 12 noon, at Taylorsville 1st Ward, 1365 West 4800 South. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates.
