The Utah volleyball team begins its first season of WAC play against two traditional volleyball powers: Colorado State and Wyoming this weekend.

Utah will face Colorado State Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Wyoming Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Both matches will be held at HPER E-101.Utah is 6-8 in the season after placing second in the Illinois State Invitational. Denise Rathbun, Utah's starting setter, is back in action after missing two matches prior to the ISU tourney due to a stress fracture in her foot.

Colorado State comes in with a 8-5 record and a three-match win streak. All-America candidate Jill Johnson has led the CSU hitters in all but two outings.
